According to its chief engineer, it now makes 471 HP & 298 ft. lbs of torque.
It also looks great in that color.

I don’t care if it’s powered by a 3A-C motor. GIMME THAT THING

Sexy, yes. Torqueless, also yes.

All they need to do is make it a convertible and call it the LS2000, profit. (for those who won’t get that, the S2000 is also a torqueless, gutless wonder)

Hey look! A new Lexus! And they still haven’t fixed that ugly ass grill....thing!

Suspiciously 100ft-lbs lower than what the 2UR-GSE usually makes.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say, that is not a good looking car.

471/298? Did you mean 471/398?
Because the press release from NAIAS said it targeted 467/389: http://www.lexus.com/documents/conc…

This would look so much better if it weren’t doing that weird Prius thing with the headlight trim.

It looks terrific, but how did they manage to get such a small torque figure? My 16 year old N/A Audi makes more torque than that thing.

I think there might be a mistake in the torque measuring.

Did they put a Honda engine in there or something?

Must be. The figues I’ve seen are in the upper 300s

298 ftlbs? either a typo, or that 5.0L V8 has a 7" bore and 1" stroke

Where is the torque
